No. HYDRO Up works completely self-sufficiently – without electricity, without an external water supply, without electrodes. It uses only natural energy processes.

HYDRO Up is an innovative system for natural soil humidification – completely without electricity, water pipes or pumps. It uses a special unit that generates a geoenergetic field of action. Storage rule:
Always store the HYDRO Up device lying on the floor rotated by 90°. This way, it remains ineffective as the receiving antennas do not point downwards.

Yes, the HYDRO Up technology was accompanied in field trials at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU), among others. Under dry conditions, HYDRO Up can help to transport the natural soil moisture upwards from deeper layers – provided the soil is capillary active and a certain residual moisture is present. If the soil is completely dry or capillary-breaking (e.g. gravel), the effect is limited.

Previous studies and practical observations indicate positive effects on yield and water balance. However, as we are currently in the pilot phase, we cannot make any guaranteed yield promises. Experience is constantly being incorporated into the further development of the technology.
